I have been teaching English at Ellsworth High School in Maine for the last 12 years.  I came to it via a career teaching English as a second language in Morocco, working as a programmer / interviewer / statistical analyst for a social science research company, systems administration at The Jackson Laboratory, an international bio-research laboratory. 
Recently I took a job at Jonesport-Beals High School where all collaboration is interdisciplinary. I try to live purposefully and share my rationale with my students.
