Eager to see what the students made of this!

Hi Ted,

I just saw this very thorough set of materials and resources for your unit on character. What an interesting cluster of literary texts ...including the Chaucer...for your students. I was curious about what students made of or did with the two digital pieces, the wiki and the diigo annotation. I could see that they would really enhance the preparation for The Kite Runner. Did you feel that doing these things in digital form helped the students? Both wikis and group Diigo sharing are great for building a group knowlege base that I could imagine would be helpful in the having the whole class move into the novel. Was that the case?

(I'm really interested in what the students came up with, either in their discussion on the wiki or in the essays themselves.)
